I love a Sunday reset and the 'ber' months are perfect for this.
Taking a day at a slower pace is good for us. Having no schedule or appointments, or emails to reply to and just having a whole day stretching ahead of us is utter bliss isn't it. 😍🍂☕

Do you remember when all the shops and businesses were closed on a Sunday? (Yes, I'm that old) 🤪 Bring back that time! It was a day for family gatherings, baking, kids playing outside and pottering at home or in the garden. 🪴

Instead we're now at B&Q for our latest project or dashing here there and everywhere to various appointments or shops. We're trying to cram in as much as possible in the precious two day weekend. When really, we should be downing tools and slowing down.

Sitting outside with a blanket, a cuppa and my book whilst dinner is cooking is what I'd like to do today. Even if it's just for an hour. ☕📚🌳

I also want to go for a walk and when I'm watching the telly with my family later, I will light the candles and sit (looking glamorous) with a face mask on. 🕯

Little things that help me to reset for the busy week ahead.
What are you up to today? Will you manage to do things for you that will help you to just relax for a little while today? I'd love to hear in the comments 💬

Wishing you all a stress-free Sunday 💕

Happy Friday lovelies 😍

Hope you've all had a lovely week and are looking forward to the weekend.
It's been a busy week for me both for my shop and at home, but it's been a good one.

Although I'm now silly-busy prepping for Christmas (markets and my website) I am determined to enjoy the month of October. I'm looking forward to long walks, crunchy leaves, frothy lattes, catch-ups and quality family time with homemade crumbles and cosy film nights.

I've put together a fun October bucket list - how many things will you be doing this month? 🍂☕️🥧🌳🍿

🍂 🍂 🍂 HELLO OCTOBER 🍂 🍂 🍂

How is it October already!? Where the heck did September go to!?
I've got to admit, I'm a little worried that these months are flying by, as I've now only got a month before my Christmas markets begin. 🤪😬🎄

I love doing the markets and chatting to my customers, but there is lot to do before now and then! Eek.

But I am determined to make the most of the autumn as it's the season to get cosy, enjoy walks in the fresh air and to do a little update to home decor to reflect the season. The twinkle lights are on, candles are lit and we've kick-started the cosy films by watching You've Got Mail. 📩 Love that film 😍

What's your go to autumn film? Share in the comments so we can all enjoy 🎬

Anyone else looking forward to sweater weather? 🍂 😍
I flipping love a cosy jumper. Jeans and a jumper, or leggings and a (long) jumper are what make up my autumn and winter wardrobe. Those and scarves. Love the cosiness of a long scarp wrapped around me.

We've already swapped over the duvets to the thick winter ones and OMG I am sleeping much better. I think it's just having the extra weight on top of me. Mind you, with the hormonal hot flushes it can get a bit toasty. 🙄🥵😅 Oh the absolute joys of being a woman!!! 🤣

But I'm here for the cosiness of the next few months.

To shop these cute wood pumpkins - click on the Autumn Home Collection link in my bio. 🍂 🛒

✨New week - New products ✨

A favourite film for autumn, which my daughter and I watch on repeat is Practical Magic ✨🍸🥥 And the new film is just as good. That kitchen!!! Love it! 😍

So this halloween I'm channelling Practical Magic vibes for my decor. May even throw in a Margarita or two.

Midnight Margaritas
Ingredients (Per Drink) 🍸
1 1/2 oz blanco tequila
1 oz fresh lime juice
1 1/2 oz cream of coconut
1 cup ice
Lime wedge and salt for the glass rim

Instructions
Prep the glass: Rub a lime wedge around the rim of your glass and dip it into salt. (Tradition says to throw a pinch of salt over your left shoulder for good luck!)
Blend: Combine the tequila, fresh lime juice, cream of coconut, and ice in a blender.
Mix: Blend on high until the mixture is completely smooth and slushy.
Serve: Pour into your rimmed glass, garnish with a lime wheel or wedge, and blast Harry Nilsson's song "Coconut" while dancing around the kitchen. 🥥 💃

If you're planning on having some halloween fun this season - these decorative ceramic tags will help create a magical look in your home.

They come with a choice of ribbon (black or peach)
The decorative tags are part of my Autumn Home Collection which you can access from the link in my bio. Or DM me and I'll message you the direct link. 💬🔗

I love a Sunday morning. Especially one like today when the sun is shining and I don’t have to be anywhere.

I can potter around at home (one of my fav things) doing all the little jobs and prep for the week ahead.

I’m getting outside in the garden today as there is lots to do out there. 🌱

I’ve recently started journaling (or keeping a diary) - not sure if there is a difference? 🤷‍♀️ So will find time to do that later.

I’ve recently bought some lovely new books which I’m itching to get started on, so I’m hoping to find time to read. And the November issue of Country Homes & Interiors has arrived which I’m looking to reading (and looking at the gorgeous homes) 😍

What are you all up to today?

Happy Friday! 💕
Now don’t be fooled by the pics, as it looks as if I’m living the dream with my morning walk and nice coffee before I start work.

The reality is, I’ve also cleaned the dishwasher, sprayed the oven which I’ve now got to scrub, hung the washing out and watered the pots outside. Glamorous it is not! 🤪😂 But at least I’ve been productive 😁

I’ll be working on finalising Christmas designs this morning. 🎄Cant wait to share them with you 😍

Wishing you all a wonderful Friday x

Are you enjoying the weather this month? September has been beautiful so far hasn't it. To quote Goldilocks, the temperature has been "just right" - not too hot and not too cold. 🥣

And I'm loving the cosy evenings. As the nights get slightly darker the twinkle lights are coming on. ✨✨✨

I've been using the glass cloche from my shop and filling it with twinkle lights - it looks lovely on a side table in the evenings. If this is a bit of you too - take a look at my Autumn Home Collection. Link is in my bio. 🍂

We had a visitor this morning. 🦌

To be fair we have deers in our garden most days. They limbo under the gate and spend hours in the garden. Either curled up under a hedge or they treat the garden as one big buffet! 🌱

This little muntjac was having a lovely time munching this morning. He didn’t care that we were all watching him. 👀

Well as he’s had his breakfast I suppose I’d better make my own.

Are you Bake Off ready!? 🧁🍰🥮

This is a family watch for us - all of us snuggled on the sofa, drinks and snacks at the ready, because who is watching Bake Off without snacks??? 😲

My fav is cake week. But I want cakes that look like delicious cakes. I am not a fan of cakes that look like an object. Nope. 😐

I don’t want a cake to look like a shoe. Why?!? It’s been iced within an inch of its life to keep its form and to stop it from collapsing and it’s just not appealing. To me anyway. 🤷‍♀️

Call me old fashioned, but I want a cake or a biscuit to look like a delicious cake or a biscuit. 🧁🍪

Do you agree? Or are you happy with allllll the fondant icing in the shape of a handbag? 👜

What’s your favourite week on Bake Off?

✨ HAPPY MONDAY! ✨

Where did the weekend go? We were productive, but it went by in a flash!
Have you got a busy week ahead?

I'm all about Christmas - busy designing new Christmas decorations, which I'm so excited to share with you. But not just yet as let's enjoy Autumn first 🍂

I've got the dreaded weekly food shop to do. I hate cooking. I hate thinking of what to cook and then having to cook every single night. When did I sign up for this? 🤪

If we won the lottery, the first thing I'd buy isn't a holiday, boat or a ridiculously expensive car - it would be a chef! 100%!!! Someone to plan and cook all our meals would be amazing!!! 👩‍🍳

As I (sadly) don't have a personal chef, I try to make it easier for myself by planning every meal for the week and do an online shop for those meals. This stops the dreaded "what am I going to cook tonight" thought. 🤔

Do you do something similar or do you enjoy cooking and coming up with a meal on the spur of the moment? Hats off to you if you are totally winging it each evening!

Right, as I'm up early I'd better make the most of it and crack on.
Wishing you all a very sparkly Monday ✨✨✨

🍂 AUTUMN HOME DECOR 🍂

Time to get cosy! Don't get me wrong, I love summer, but I also love getting cosy.
Lighting candles, putting snuggly blankets on the sofa, and changing a few decorative pieces around my home like pretty pumpkins and rustic pieces that give a nod to the season changing. Ooh and maybe a wreath for the door!

I'm not into giving my entire home a complete overhaul for the change of season, just a few pieces is enough.

What do you like to do in your home when the seasons change? Do you add a couple of bits or are you a bit more committed and the paint brush comes out?

My autumn home decor collection is now live on the website if you fancy a little browse whilst enjoying your coffee. ☕

Happy Friday! 😊 x

I've just taken delivery of this gorgeous statement jug and had to share it with you. It's such a gorgeous shape and has a beautiful texture to it - perfect for autumn.

Fill with dried or fresh flowers, or display it on it's own in all it's gorgeousness.
I've just added it to the website.

Psst! Would make a lovely Christmas gift for someone who loves interiors 🎁😍

🎄🎁 🧑‍🎄 100 days until Christmas!!!! 🎄🎁 🧑‍🎄

Where has the time gone!? It feels like we're only just coming out of summer and enjoy the first hits of autumn, and yet Christmas will be here in the blink of an eye.

I'm busy pulling together my 2026 Christmas Collection and can't wait to share it with you. Lots of lovely new Christmas decor! ✨

I am also doing lots of Christmas markets this year. One every weekend in November. Eek! I've just shared this fact with my family (Free help) so I hope they won't mind giving up their weekends in November. 🙏

Attending markets is full-on and needs a lot of organising and prep. And I couldn't do it without my family, so I'm REALLY grateful to them. We're also doing an outside event this year in Southwold, so I'm taking the plunge and buying a gazebo. I aim to fill it with twinkle lights to make it as cosy as possible. As my daughter and I both suffer with Raynauds we will be wearing ALL the layers! 🥶🥶

Please swipe to see the second pic with my Christmas markets information.
Save the dates - will be lovely to see you there. 📆 🎄

If you know friends & family in and around Suffolk who enjoy a Christmas market, please feel free to share the post. 😊

Happy Monday lovelies!
How are you? Ready to start the week?

After a couple of weeks of being poorly I’m ready for new beginnings today. I have a to-do list as long as my arm which includes my autumn collection and lots of Christmas prep! Cannot wait to share lovely new home decor with you.

I must admit I’m slightly behind now, so I’m trying not to panic, but I’ve a lot to get done in a very short amount of time. 😬

My daughter and I went to see Practical Magic 2 yesterday. 🕯️✨🧙The first one is one of our favourite films and we watch it every autumn. But now we will have both of them to watch each autumn 🍂 😍

When we got home last night I lit all the candles to try to create the Practical Magic vibe. Autumn evenings are the time to get cosy and I’m here for it. Candles, twinkle lights, cosy throws and a mug of hot chocolate. What’s not to love.

Wishing you all a magical week ahead ✨

Good morning lovelies,
Are you enjoying the cooler weather? I'm a sun girl but I am thankful for the cooler temperatures. And the rain has been wonderful. Don't get me wrong, our lawn still looks like straw and is crunchy to walk on, but at least we're getting the odd shower. 🌧

As some of you may have seen on my stories, I've been making the most of an early glut of apples from our tree and making apple crumbles for the colder months ahead. They're easy to make and then freeze. I use foil trays with lids to bake them in, and then just let them defrost during the day and warm them in the oven for a few mins when I need them. Great for when you have people round for dinner as your dessert is already made. 🥧

As my daughter is coeliac, all of my cooking and baking is gluten free, so if you're looking for an easy gluten free apple crumble recipe - scroll to the last image in my post. This can also be a "normal" bake by using regular plain flour instead of gluten free. The grounds almonds give the crumble a lovely texture and nutty flavour.

A little tip I use when I come across a new recipe, I always reduce the amount of sugar. I find, there is always far too much sugar in recipes. I reduce the amount each time I bake something to see if there is a difference and if we miss the sugar.

I already have a few crumbles in my freezer ready for the autumn and winter. They're nice to have if you're having a lighter main meal. 😋

Do you also batch bake? 🥧🥧🥧

A little treat this Sunday.
Sunday brunch pancake 🥞

I put out all the toppings, including bacon, syrup and fruit, but the fav is always lemon and sugar. You can’t go wrong with lemon and sugar 🍋💕

What’s your favourite pancake topping? Do you go rogue with something completely different or are you a lemon and sugar fan?

Wishing you all a lovely Sunday ☀️

Happy weekend lovelies ☀️
What are you up to? Anything lovely planned?

I’ve got the housework to do 🙌 But I’ll listen to a podcast whilst I’m doing it.

I’d like to do a tidy up in the garden. The only thing growing is the weeds 🙄

I’m doing an early roast chicken salad dinner as my daughter is working later. Need to make sure she’s fed before she goes.

And if I have time I want to start sorting my summer sale on my website. I will let you know on here when it’s live 🛒

Happy Monday ☀️

Hope you all had a lovely weekend. We had a week away which was lovely and relaxing. Some much needed downtime.

The alarm going off this morning was a shock to the system I can tell you!

Having a week with no responsibilities was soooo nice.

But I have to be honest, by the last day I had my notebook out planning my the week ahead.

My to-do list is silly long so I need to make it more manageable for today as, like many parents this summer I’m also a taxi for my daughter. 🚖 Although she is learning to drive so I will soon be hanging up my mum taxi hat.

Anyway, I’d better get cracking and make my coffee ☕️
Wishing you all a lovely start to your week 💕

Happy Friday lovelies! 🤩

Hope you've all had a good week. Ours, as you may have seen on my stories has been a sad week. So our break is well timed.

Time to relax and have fun as a family. The first half of this year has been very stressful due to a number of things, so we're looking forward to taking a break, having some fun and making sure the second half of 2026 is memorable for all the right reasons.

My shop will remain open, but orders won't be processed until Monday 3rd August.

Wishing you all a lovely and relaxing weekend.

As it’s been cooler I’ve managed to do a few things around the house which has been nice. Bit of a spring clean and a potter - moving accessories around for a bit of a refresh. 🌟

A mirror I had in the workshop has been given a kick of paint and is now up in the bathroom. Love a bit of upscaling. 💕

A delicious Sunday lunch followed by a walk.
Ive processed your orders which will be in the post tomorrow. And I’ve also squeezed in some work - all will be revealed soon!

Have a lovely Sunday evening 🤍

There's something about the weekend that makes you slow down just enough to notice the people around you. The noise of the week falls away, and what's left is the stuff that actually matters. 💕

These little clay signs started as an idea about exactly that, the phrases we say to the people we love, or sometimes never quite say out loud. Hand-stamped, torn-edged, finished with twine. Small enough to sit on a shelf, meaningful enough to keep for years.

Our family. Our story.
Three words. Everything in them.
New to the shop this week. Find them via the link in bio, or just drop me a message and I'll send you a link 😊

There is also the option to add your own personal message/ quote.
All the details are in the product description. 📝

☀️ Another sunny day - another salad option for lunch
I love a good salad. It has to have some protein in it and some crunch. 🥗

Again, super simple to make at lunchtime.

Ingredients:
- Tin tuna (I use the one in spring water)
- Mayo (as much or as little as you like)
- Salad leaves
- Rocket
- Diced apple (I used a Granny Smith’s)
- Walnuts - fibre
- Pumpkin seeds - protein
- Cherry toms
- Cucumber

Mix tuna and mayo together. Add diced apple and chopped walnuts (can also use peanuts for a salty crunch). Mix well.

Make your salad up as you like it and top with your tuna mix. Sprinkle with pumpkin seeds. Drizzle with avocado oil. 🥑 (or olive oil)

Enjoy 😊

Do you love a salad? I love them in the summertime but I struggle with them in the winter. Prefer something warm.

Enjoy your afternoon lovelies. Friday is in sight! 🙌

Good morning lovelies ☀️
Another sticky one last night. Our bedroom is like an oven 🥵

I’ve come outside to have my (first) coffee to enjoy the cooler air before my workout.

It’s a hive of activity here on the patio - pigeon walking around with twigs for her nest, shrews running about in the borders, our friendly robin sitting on the fence, blackbirds on the lawn and a mummy sparrow busy feeding her noisy chicks. And I can also hear our guinea pig - Blossom squeaking away.

It’s nice to have just a few minutes of peace before the day starts. I’m so grateful for this as I used to commute into London and that must be hideous in these temperatures. My heart goes out to all the commuters!
